Primary Division

Classes are open to all children age 3.5 and older who want to experience the joy of dance. After a trial lesson children are placed in the appropriate level. This Division is divided into Creative Children’s Dance, Pre-Ballet, Levels I / II / III / IV / V. As of Level II all students are required to attend at least 2 classes per week.

Creative Children’s Dance

Creative children’s dance offers children from the age of 3.5 until they enter kindergarten the opportunity to experience their love of movement and to get closer to dance in a playful way. The lesson takes place once a week and lasts 45 minutes.

Pre Ballet

In Pre-Ballet, the first ballet basic positions are taught in a child-friendly and playful way. The class is attended one time per week for a maximum of two years, parallel to kindergarten. One lesson lasts 60 minutes.

Level I & II

The curriculum of both levels is learned over a period of two years. From level II onwards, all students are required to participate in at least two classes per week. The progress from one level to the next depends on the individual learning progress and on annual examinations.

Level III – V

Students attend between 2 and 4 classes per week. The progress from one level to the next depends on the individual learning progress.

Junior Professional School

Admission to the Junior Professional Division is by invitation after the student has participated in an assessment class. Classes are for students who exhibit a natural ability and enthusiasm for ballet.

Level IA – ages 7 to 8

Two 60 minute ballet classes per week.

Level IIA – ages 8 to 9

Three to four 90 minute ballet classes per week.

Level IIIA – ages 9 to 10

Four 90 minute ballet classes per week.

Level IVA – ages 11 to 12

Four to five 90 minute ballet classes per week. Pointe work is introduced.

Level VA – ages 12 to 13

Three 90 minute and two 120 minute ballet classes per week.

The progress from one level to the next depends on the individual learning progress. From level IIA onwards, examinations are held at the end of the year. Boys are taught in separate classes.

Teenagers and Adults

For teenagers who have completed Level V, as well as for other interested persons, there is the possibility to participate in our Teen and Adult Classes. Modern and Classical trainings for beginners and advanced are offered as well as so-called OPEN CLASSES, which can be used without a fixed subscription. The following classes are included.
